No Limits Ministries International is a multicultural, multifaceted church that freely reaches out to our community, particularly those who are struggling with varying needs. We believe that meeting the physical needs of these vulnerable members of our community is as essential to their well-being as nourishing their spiritual needs.
Feeding the Community Every 3rd Sunday
In the spirit of fellowship and community, every 3rd Sunday of the month we host a special event where we serve hot meals to the homeless and other members of our community who may be in need. This is much more than an act of charity; it is an invaluable opportunity for fellowship, understanding, and practically sharing God’s love. Each hot meal served is not only for the satiation of hunger but a genuine gesture of love, showing our community that we care about.
Soup Kitchen
Soup is provided every Wednesday between the hours of 2:00 to 4:00 p.m.
Church Food Bank
In addition to our monthly hot meals service, we operate a church food bank comprised of grocery items. The bank is open to any individual or family who may need a little extra help. Our foodbank shows that our ministry is always ready to share God’s bountiful blessings. In the spirit of Galatians 5:14, “For the entire law is fulfilled in keeping this one command: ‘Love your neighbour as yourself,’” We recognize our duty as a church community to stand with our neighbours. Migration, whether forced or voluntary, can be a time of profound transition, filled with uncertainty, ambition, and hope. Amid this upheaval, the support of a caring community can mean the world.
Clothing Program
No Limits Ministries International has established a Clothing Program designed to provide warm, comfortable, and sturdy garments for community members in need. This community outreach program has been providing warm clothing to help those who are unable to provide these items for themselves and their families. These warm items range from blankets, gloves, sleeping bags, scarves, and socks and include warm meals. Our targeted areas are shelters and Tent City where many homeless are situated. Our goal is to keep people warm as the cold season brings a lot of suffering. No one should ever be cold. However, many out there are unprepared for the winter season. We invite you to partake in this service by donating clothing, volunteering your time for sorting and organizing clothes or contributing financially to purchase new clothing items.
No Limits Ministries Immigration Clinic
No Limits Ministries International provides some immigration services to those within our community navigating the immigration process. We run an Immigration Legal Clinic where we appoint a lawyer that meets with individuals at least once per month providing huge discounts as well as a structured payment plan. The immigration process can be a taxing and emotionally draining journey. Our church offers counseling, prayer, and spiritual support to offer comfort, strength, and resilience during these tough times.
Housing Solutions
No Limits Ministries International, in collaboration with local services and charities, offers several housing solutions tailored to provide relief and support to those facing housing crises.
- Temporary Housing Assistance:
Working together with local shelters and transitional housing projects, we help provide temporary housing to those in urgent need, ensuring they have a safe place to stay while we work on a more permanent solution. - Homeless Prevention Programs:
Our church offers financial advice, counselling, and sometimes financial support to community members who are struggling to maintain their homes, helping to stave off the threat of eviction or foreclosure. - Housing Counseling Services:
We run workshops and Individual counseling sessions are provided to help and guide the community members to understand their rights, how to access housing programs, and navigate the often-complex world of housing and tenancy laws, as well as counselling on personal money management.
Financial Management Services:
We facilitate Financial Empowerment sessions every second Sunday, where community members can work with experienced volunteers to create a roadmap to a secure financial future and learn the skills to manage their day-to-day financial life effectively. Sessions are usually in the form of presentations and workshops on a range of practical financial management topics, such as budgeting, saving, investing, and understanding credit. These workshops are structured to empower individuals with the necessary financial literacy to assist them in making informed financial decisions. We also help those encountering debt-relief needs, guiding them through options like negotiating with creditors, setting up realistic payment plans, and helping them walk the road toward debt freedom.
Youth One and One and Career Counselling
As a ministry, we are cognizant of the fact that for youths, guidance can be a powerful tool for personal growth and future planning. We aim to create a nurturing atmosphere for our youths, assisting them in establishing their dreams and equipping them with the necessary resources to achieve them.
- One-on-One Counseling:
Understanding that every individual faces unique challenges, our church offers one-on-one counselling services for our young community members. These safe, confidential sessions allow youths to express their concerns and receive guidance on a wide range of issues, from faith-related inquiries to personal problems or aspirations. - Career Planning and Counseling:
Choosing a career is a pivotal step in a young adult’s life. Our ministry extends guidance by offering career counselling to help youths identify their strengths, interests, and potential career paths that they may find fulfilling. - Job Readiness Training:
Transitioning into the workforce can be a daunting experience. Through our job readiness program, we aim to boost the confidence of our youths by equipping them with valuable skills such as resume preparation, job search strategies, interview techniques, and workplace etiquette essentials. - Our community outreach initiatives are made possible by the dedication, love, and generosity of our church members and God’s divine grace and provision.
